Data stored in .IN-files

In short, the following data about the appearance of the model domain are stored in the Area Input files:
  • Location and height of buildings
  • Position and database ID of vegetation
  • Position of pollutant sources
  • Soil profile types
  • Position of receptors
  • Position of database links
     

    In addition, some general information needed to handle the model is stored:
  • Number of grid points in x-, y- and z-direction
  • Grid size
  • Number of Nesting Grids
  • Soil Profiles of Nesting grids
  • Rotation of model domain out of north
