New features and changes in Editor Version 3.0 compared to 2.5.2

Generally, the new features of the Editor are following the new features of the ENVI-met model (click here to see what's new)

4In short, these are the dominant changes compared to prior versions:
  • The number of Nesting Grids and the Soil profile in the nesting area are now stored in the Area Input File !
  • The rotation of the model domain out of North is now stored in the Area Input File !
  • Improved database handling (supports local databases as in ENVI-met 3.0)
     
    4Additionally, some features have been added to the editor itself that are not directly associated with the recent ENVI-met version:
  • Support of database links
  • Improved graphical display (more colors/ highlights)
  • Tool-Tip window for Quick Help
  • Online Help (that's where you are)
  • ...other small improvements and bug fixes
