The ENVI-met Mailing List...
...is
a distribution list for messages about ENVI-met informing you about recent research,
updates or errors found in ENVI-met.
The list is powered by Yahoo! and it's a do-it-yourself subscription process.
The mailing list is
a moderated list. Members can post to other members (after approval of
the message), but most of the time the list is only
used for newsletters about ENVI-met.
This list is not very busy, the usual amount is less than 10 messages per year.
The e-mail addresses are only used to communicate ENVI-met issues and no other
stuff (ads, spam or whatever) is posted through the list.
Every user of ENVI-met is urgently asked to subscribe to the list and stay subscribed in order to be kept informed about new about ENVI-met or errors found. To start the ENVI-met setup, you'll need the password that is send out in the "Welcome" letter of the newsgroup.
We
will NEVER send any files, especially not executable files over the list !
If you get an e-mail that seems to come form
the ENVI-met list with an attached file.. DELETE it immediately ! (And please
inform me about that issue)
However, if you decide
to un-subscribe the mailing list or got your password through other channels,
that's fine with me.
As ENVI-met is Freeware, I'm not tracking the volume of installed ENVI-met's
but I am, of course, interested, how many people are interested in the program
I've written.
