With its new conversion to 64Bit you can now handle much larger #datasets to completely integrate with all other ENVI-met applications.
BIO-met Redesign and 64 Bit, new PET
BIO-met is a post-processing tool to calculate #Human thermal comfort and Thermal Comfort Indices based on your #simulation data. It provides a range of classic indices such as PET, SET or UTCI. We have taken a huge step with the new GUI, but probably even more importantly, the PET calculation module has been completely re-worked and redesigned. The updated BIO-met now considers various advancements of recent scientific papers regrading erroneous equations and assumptions.
DataStudio BETA 2
#datastudio is your integrated workbench to use the power of #python to access, analyse and visualize ENVI-met #data and to program application behaviour and script application routines. Now the second BETA version of DataStudio comes with numerous additions and improvements to the initial version, including an extended object model for #programming and #lightbox, an interactive clipboard for #graphic files over all ENVI-met applications. Also, direct #html export from scripts has been added and the #svg support has been reworked. A new Diagram #wizard is now included – allowing even beginners a quick start into the diagramming world of Python.
Forcing Manager: Reworked GUI and DataStudio integration
The interface of the ForcingManager and the .FOX file format has been slightly reworked to contain more information. In addition, DataStudio is now integrated into the Forcing Manager which allows a quick #visualisation of #meteorological data, e.g. using parts of the #Ladybug framework.
Advanced search & filter dialog for Trees
As the number of 3-D Trees have increased significantly with the introduction of QSM-based trees, a new filter option has been added to Albero and Spaces which makes it possible to choose the right plant from the large selection of trees in ENVI-met.
Albero: Scaling of L-Trees
Our model allows to define any #plant from small grass up to huge #trees using the same database scheme. But an often-requested feature was the possibility to scale #L-System based tree to a specific height. In the past, the final height and width of the L-based trees was based on the set of L-System rules and the resulting tree skeleton. Now – with the new scaling option – L-Trees can be scaled up to a desired height without the need to modify the L-System rules.
Leonardo: EDX to NetCDF converter
The application Leonardo enables you to create #2D or #3D maps and analyse the results written during the simulation run. The possibility to generate #NetCDF files during the simulation was first introduced in Version 5.0. We now added the EDX to NetCDF converter to Leonardo to generate NetCDF files using its own graphical interface.
